Back when I used to run the board for a morning show that was simulcast out of one of our sister stations. Even though it sounds like they could have been in another state, they were actually broadcasting about 20 feet down the hall from where I sat. Free Beer & Hot Wings…what a name and what a bunch of guys…and yes, those were the names they went by when you greeted them in the hall. Wouldn’t be uncommon to hear, “Hey Hot Wings, what do you think of this?” a couple of times a day.

Quite frankly, the only reason I bought the album was to get “King Of Spain”. I heard it on the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show. Back in the early days, there would be music played coming out of the commercial breaks and sometimes it was part of the content of the show. For the life of me I can’t remember the bit they were doing…may have been an “embarrassing songs on your iPod” bit or something like that.

A fun little ditty, quasi-a-capella retelling the story of The Prince And The Pauper, but with a modern twist. Honestly, haven’t really listened to much more of the album than that.
